We may sell “things” like supplies and furniture, but the heart and soul of Office Express is its people. We’d like to share a little information about different employees in our company so that you get to know them a bit better. We hope that this continues to build a bridge between our company and you. Employee Spotlight Rob, Lisa and Allison Mahon Alright, Lisa was already in the employee spotlight a year and a half ago when she was still Lisa Birch. That was just before she got married so now we can meet both of the Mahons together. As I mentioned in the article about Recaro, Lisa received a free car seat when she was pregnant. That’s right, was pregnant. She had her baby Saturday January 9th.  A beautiful little girl named Allison.  Check her out! Rob Mahon is a big Facebook enthusiast. I checked his page and I saw he’s working hard to help Lisa out. Lisa and Rob met when working at another office supply store that is now out of business. Lisa came to work here first and Rob followed later.  Rob is our all around “go-to guy” who works in the warehouse at Office Express.  He jokes that he came to provide extra help to the company one day four years ago and just never left!  Rob spends a good amount of his time assembling furniture for our customers, but he also fills in on the delivery routes when needed. After four years, he knows the industry well and is always willing to step in and help whenever there is a need. He has been a great asset to the Office Express team.  In his spare time, Rob enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is always up for watching or attending a sporting event.  In the summer, he enjoys traveling up north and going camping. Rob’s newest interest is his three week old baby girl, Allison.  Rob is thoroughly enjoying his new role as a father and can’t wait to show her off!  All of us at Office Express are very excited for Rob and Lisa as they begin this new journey of parenthood.  Employee Spotlight - Nancy Hirsch When you need to figure out how to strategically and comfortably arrange your staff into an office, we have someone that can simplify that task and make it worry-free. Nancy Hirsch has been with Office Express for three years now after coming to us from Thom’s Office Products where she spent a number of years.  She holds a degree from Michigan State University where she earned her B.A. in Interior Design.  Nancy enjoys a challenge and corporate design projects are her forte. Nancy works with clients to select furniture and finishes for their offices.  She most loves space planning and designing offices, a process that she treats as a puzzle to be solved.  At Office Express, she most enjoys working on a variety of projects whether big or small. She takes pleasure in working side-by-side with our sales team and bringing projects to fruition.  In her spare time, Nancy enjoys keeping her artistic skills flowing through her drawings and paintings.  She also enjoys spending time with her family.  She and her husband Rob have two daughters, Anne and Sarah, they are both currently attending college.  Nancy is looking forward to the summer and to spending a good deal of time at their family cabin in Caseville, Michigan.  Nancy and her husband reside in Rochester Hills. Employee Spotlight  -  Meet Carlton Branch Some of the hardest working people at Office Express are our drivers, who are sometimes overlooked simply because they are not here during the day – they are out serving our customers!  One of our most outgoing drivers is Carlton Branch. Carlton covers the southeastern route servicing customers from Troy, Clawson, Birmingham, Southfield, Farmington Hills, Southgate, Taylor, Livingston and Detroit.  Carlton has been working in the office supply business for over 20 years, starting at Speedy Office Supply before coming to Office Express, where he has been now for the last 16 years.
